Roger has been a senior gyroplane flight instructor for the past 25 years and has therefore,a huge amount of experience of teaching both twin seat and single seat gyroplane flying on a wide variety of aircraft.

Training offered includes the full 40 hour course for ab-initio(beginners),right through to ‘conversions’ for Microlight, Aeroplane, Glider and Helicopter licence holders. All flight training is conducted using the CAA UK Gyroplane Flight Training Syllabus which is regarded as perhaps the highest standard of training in the world.

All flying training is done from Roger’s own airfield at Berrier,near Penrith in the Lake District but also includes training at a variety of other airfields nearby.Roger’s own training aircraft include the Rotorsport MT03 and Magni M16c twin seaters.

Roger also acts as a ‘freelance’ Gyroplane flying instructor and will, by arrangement, train you at your own local airfield,using either your own two seat gyroplane (which saves money) – or his. The choice is yours!

Over the years, Roger has trained many gyroplane pilots in various countries and remains available for flight training overseas,as well as in the UK.
